; "Blessed, that poor spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" ... (Mt. 5, 1 - 12).
These are the cries of joy of Jesus to the feeling of closeness with which the live the arrival of the Kingdom of God. Jesus says blessed are the poor, the suffering, those who weep, those merciful. These cries of Jesus should be translated : Happy you, how lucky you !, because God has decided to be your King .
Jesus is the one that really embodies the Beatitudes, Jesus is the poor, the meek, merciful, the bringer of peace and persecuted because of righteousness ...
The today's Gospel says that Jesus " to see the crowd rose to the mountain, sat down and approached his disciples and he started talking about teaching . " to the presence of multitudes Jesus reacts up the mountain. Mountain symbolizes God's place ... Jesus lives permanently anchored at the "place of God." When Jesus goes up the mountain and sits down to announce the Beatitudes, is a crowd in that setting, but only "the disciples came" to him to hear his message better. What we heard today, the disciples of Jesus if we approach Him?:
" Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven ", is a call to break the ambition and the desire have increasingly, is a proposal of solidarity. The poor in spirit (heart) are that do not support in false wealth because they have found true wealth within. And they are happy , happy, and have lucky because they have God as King. Happy "the poor in spirit" who know how to live with little, always trusting in God. Church blessed a poor soul because you will have less problems, will be more attentive to those in need and live out the Gospel with more freedom.
; "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth . " Blessed are the meek" that empty your heart of resentment and aggression. Dichosa a church full of gentleness. It will be a gift to this world full of violence. She will inherit the promised land. These Jesus promises, no and possession of a ground but the land of complete freedom.
" are those who mourn for they shall be comforted ." not be is a pain anyone is of suffering is the fruit of any kind of oppression and Jesus promises comfort because the final release brings every human being. Blessed "are those who mourn" for their sins and sufferings. With them you can create a better and more dignified world. Blessed is a church that cries their mistakes because walking to his conversion. One day we will be consoled and comforted by God.
"Blessed which have hunger and thirst for justice . " Want say that all those for whom justice is so necessary for them as food and drink , Jesus promises that this desire will be satisfied . Happy " those hunger and thirst for justice" those who have not lost the desire to be fair and the desire to make the world more worthy. Blessed is the Church eagerly seeks the kingdom of God and His righteousness. She will be fully satisfied.
" Blessed are the merciful", ie those who help others . .. The mercy is in tune heart with the brother and in act in consequence. That is help the others. Happy "the merciful" that act, work and live moved by compassion. Are those on earth, most like the Father in heaven. Blessed is the church that God rips the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. She will have mercy. Thus all mercy.
"Blessed the clean of heart for they shall see God " is referred to those of integrity, honest, sincere, that is, everything in them is transparency and sincerity unambiguous. is, pure in heart. To this, Jesus promises that God will, that is, they will have a profound experience of God in their lives.
"Blessed the working by the ; peace " These are called children of God ie are similar to God ... as children because do the same activity as the Father ... Father seem to want peace for all children .. In that sense be called "sons of God." Yes, happy "those who work for peace" with patience and faith, seeking the good for everyone. Blessed is the Church enters the world peace and not discord, reconciliation and not confrontation. She is "Daughter of God."
"Blessed persecuted because of the justice" based society in the lust for power, glory and wealth, justice does not tolerate ... So persecution, the difficulties encountered by those who are faithful to the Gospel, but their reward is the experience that God reigns over them, that God is their king.
certainly happy that, "persecuted for righteousness," meekly responded to the injustices and offenses. They help us to overcome evil with good. Theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The Beatitudes they open to us all a new way of life and happiness, can become a key reference in our way of life because they are the greatest expression of love, love that is above every love. The whole Gospel is a message of happiness and joy .
Today, the Feast of All Saints, remember a crowd of saints without crown and altar, ordinary people (like us), who have lived so simple but peace have been reported, which have been true, who have generously given their lives and participate in a full life.
; On the Feast of All Saints, in our hearts, we say: Lord, grow our desire to revive the spirit of the Beatitudes: joy, peace and happiness of meeting you.
