" God is not dead but living, for to Him all are alive" (Luke 20, 27 -38)
This is the surprising answer of Jesus to the Sadducees' question ....
The Sadducees located in the circles of power and money, were radically materialistic, " denied the resurrection of the dead "went against the faith in a future life, beyond death. They did not care about life beyond death. They want to ridicule the message of hope on the resurrection of Jesus . For this, we present the case of a woman who successively married seven brothers because he had died one after another without issue and ask, "Whose of them will be women if there is a resurrection of dead? ". Jesus replied:" God n or is a God of the dead but living, for to Him all are alive . "That is, Jesus says faith in the resurrection.
Jesus' response highlights two aspects . On the one hand, they said that the future of the resurrected life is a life transfigured (are children of God) and lived in the presence of God (as angels). This is a new life where there is no death, men and women do not marry, and human relations will be some new relationships based on love. On the other hand, supports the fact of the resurrection of the dead in the same writings of Moses from which they drew their arguments: " And the dead are raised, even Moses stated in the episode of the bush, when he called the Lord:" God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, God of Jacob God God is not dead but alive because for him all are alive . "In other words, faith in the resurrection remains in effect .... Yes, God creates life, loving gift to every human being's life a gift from God, which was a great love of his hands.

The creator of life is stronger than death, because our God is not God of the dead but of the living, because " to Him all are alive."
Jesus does not make sense for a religion of dead . The God of Jesus is not God of the dead but alive. God is an idol that we have been thrown into this world but it is He who gives life and gives abundantly. " I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly."
Christians have not always been present God as the God of life . However, in the Gospel Jesus gives us a God who comes to offer a life of fulfillment. There are many who still cling to "religious images" of God very childlike. It have done and are still doing too many cartoons of God.
The God revealed in Jesus is always for Life . There is a God but a God destructor life creates, sustains and brings to fulfillment. Therefore, God is found where there is always life, where late the desire and aspiration to live a full life. God is in life and is with striving, struggling with life, yours and that of others. God is sustaining and nurturing our effort and our choice for life. God sustains those who seek peace in this world torn apart by violence, God upholds all who have the courage to give life and to communicate it to others.
How not more passionate love life? Why do not we care and advocate more strongly the life of all human beings? Resurrection means the last word about our life is the love of God, " A world where so much injustice, both innocent suffering and cynicism of power can not be the work of a good God " (Spe Salvi).
We can say that the Resurrection in which we believe is the consummation of the deepest longings of life we \u200b\u200blead into the heart. The Gospel is Good News: God is the God who calls us to the fullness of life.
Who today in our prayer we say: Lord Risen, hope is reborn in you, who is entrusted to you will not be disappointed. You are the God of Life. He who believes in you will live forever.
