The term tuberous breast, breast tubular or tuberous breast, refers to the way it takes the breast, when its development in adolescence, this form is characterized by an insufficient development of the bottom of the breast, in many cases there is some degree of decline and herniation of the areola excessive diameter thereof.

There are different degrees, from barely discernible to some other really dramatic. The cause, is an increase in the density of breast tissue and subcutaneous, the submammary, forming a constriction band or flange, which prevents the normal development of the breast inferiorly, the consequence is that the breast grows forward only with the subsequent drop in the breast and / or herniation of the areola, next to the underdevelopment of the lower chest.

In the following pictures we can see the before and after surgery for correction of tuberous breast done by Dr. Martin of Yerro. The after photograph is taken with only a month apart, but it can be seen that the tuber has been corrected.
